When you create an account we collect your email address and password (stored in hashed form — we never store your password in plain text). When you subscribe, payment is handled by our payment processor, Stripe; we receive a record of your plan, billing status, and subscription dates, and never your full card number. We also keep basic usage records (searches run, leads viewed, settings you choose) so we can run and improve the service, and any messages you send us.
To protect accounts and enforce plan seat limits, we record sign-in and session information: the type of device and browser, IP address, approximate location (city, region, and country), and sign-in times. If you sign in from a device we have not seen before, we email you a notice. We require two-step verification — a short code sent to your email — when you sign in, unless you choose to trust a device.
ProspectingPack publishes business information — business names, business addresses, and publicly available business contact details for owners and managers in their business capacity. This information is compiled from public records and public business listings, and it is provided for business-to-business outreach.
We do not sell your personal information.
We share information only with the companies that help us operate the service — hosting, payment processing (Stripe), and email delivery — and only as much as they need to do their part. We may disclose information when the law requires it or to protect the service and its users from fraud or abuse.
We use a small number of cookies to keep you signed in, to run two-step verification (including a trusted-device cookie if you choose "trust this device" — it lasts up to 30 days and is cleared when you sign out), and to remember your settings. You can block cookies in your browser; the marketing pages will still work, though sign-in features may not.
You can ask us to correct or delete your account information at any time by contacting us. Lead digest and alert emails are controlled from your account settings, and marketing email always includes an unsubscribe link. Business owners who want a business listing corrected or removed can contact us and we will review the request promptly.
We keep account information while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for billing and legal records. We protect stored information with encryption in transit, hashed passwords, two-step verification, and access controls, though no online service can promise perfect security.
ProspectingPack is a business service and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will update this page and note the new date above. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
